Deb and Scott’s Bell Tower Wedding
This sweet pair of lovebirds had a very unusual twist to their love story and their wedding day could just have easily been overseas – but with all the challenges of Covid and rescheduling attempts they ended up at the iconic Perth Belltower for the simple, intimate but elegant and romantic wedding they dreamed of – no ties required! What a fun couple they were and we wish them all the happiness in the world they so deserve.

THE DRESS The bride chose a flattering minimalist gown from Bride’s Selection, that was sophisticated and elegant, with gorgeous button detail down the back and onto the train. The Bride looked absolutely stunning! Her gown was perfectly offset by her choice of white orchid, anthurium and rose florals from KissChasey and those awesome red shoes from Betts.
HOW THEY FIRST MEET? She worked behind a bar – he was in the Navy and his ship came in! A whirlwind later, he had to leave so she gave him a keyring with the GPS coordinates to find his way back – and he obviously did!
ACCOMMODATION The Ritz Carlton, Perth was their hotel of choice to get ready and spend their wedding night – conveniently located just across the road from the Bell Tower. We strategically positioned ourselves in the Doubletree Waterfront in Barrack Square so we could get some awesome shots of the city at sunrise.
THE VENUE They had their ceremony on the observation deck of the iconic Perth Bell Tower. The bells rang loud and clear to herald them becoming husband and wife, and they sealed their love with a love lock on the Bell Tower bridge! Their cocktail reception was held in the downstairs function room, complete with flower wall with fairy lights from Décor Hire Perth and an amazing cake and cupcakes from Vines Cakes
FAVOURITE MOMENT We took some shots with the iconic 29m high Spanda, representing ripples and connecting the land, river and sky. We also hired the hand crafted Venician Carousel in Elizabeth Quay as a surprise for the couple and got some amazing shots for this fun loving couple! It’s also where we captured “the look” - the one that the Bride gives the Groom that just melts his heart!
